Having trouble installing LED lights
Having trouble installing LED lights into my car. In the rear interior light I installed an LED bulb it did not work would not light back on but when I put the original bulb back in the light works does anyone know what's happening? I also had the same problem with the main reading/map lights in between the driver and passenger side. I installed to the left with an LED it worked, an LED in the center it worked but the LED light on the right hand side will not work but when I install the original bulb the light comes back on. Does anyone know what I can do to try to troubleshoot this it doesn't seem to be a fuse problem because the original bulbs work when I put them back in

LED are subject to polarity. If they don't work rotate 180°. I have LED's in every site except brake lights because they require a resistor to work. Thus, the written warning in your packaging, lol.

Hey man I got it figured out this morning and thanks for heads up on the break lights I was about to do that next but I'll skip that step but I got all the inside lights LEDs, my plate lights led and brights as well next step is fog lights

I misspoke, not the brake lights (I have those LED) it's the turn signals
If no resistor, they blink crazy. I have side marker, interior (with addition LED strip lighting), fogs, back up, brake, license plate, rear running (park), hood strip addition, trunk strip addition, added front running lights. |

If no resistor, they blink crazy. Others have disagreed with me in the past but thats how it works on my US 2002. |

In my experience you can put LED blinkers in the rear without issue. You can also put LED blinkers up front, they will blink normally outside, but they sound like they're blinking crazy inside.

Blink rate

I saw a BMW on the road today actually and his/her right turn signal was blinking like mad while the left one was still blinking normally (watching him/her do lane changes over a 7-10min period)

Which is an "indication" he has a bulb out somewhere on the right side.
