Hi,

I recently upgraded my speakers on my x-type and managed to break the plastic rivets that hold the door in place (its the black one on first picture), i seem to not be able to find them anywhere, do any of you have any experience with this if so please tell me where to get them.

Thanks

Very common issue when opening up the door. You should be able to get them from the dealer or one of the vendors on here and not that expensive as I recall. Look at some of the numerous threads on here as there has been a lot written about it.

A search on the part number will return several sources.

If its a hidden location I would replace it with a metal screw.

I just hate plastic.

Look on post #3 here by Clyons . There is a picture and a part name listed and then search as suggested.
