help! How do you get that damn amber light out!
Does anyone know how to remove the amber light that is next to the high beam?
One of them is out and I am freaking lost as to how to remove them... |
Rosemont, amber light next to the high beam? I know there is an amber light next to the low beam (DIP) light. The small light in the same housing as the high beam is white on my car. For the small bulb in the high beam housing, it is held in place by friction. All you do is access the back of the light housing on the high beam side, grab the base of that bulb and give it a few twists as you are pulling out. It is in there pretty good, so, you will need to give it a lot of twisting. Just don't pull too hard without providing some counter pressure as the autoleveling portion of the headlights can be damaged if you pull too hard.

those things are hard to reach too..
I cut myself on something.. lol.. but ok.. i didnt want to break them but i guess ill just pull harder.. |
careful not to break the leveling posts coz if they break you have to change the entire unit or do some glueing which is tedious and frustrating...

there are leveling thingys on the halogen type headlight assembly also?
i havent tried it out again yet.. its too cold.. but ill be careful now.. thanks guys! maybe ill try tomorrow..... |
