Help! Sunroof wind deflector bent upward
I was pretty happy when I learned how to reset my sunroof, but I will warn you not to open it up if you are doing over 100mph. I forgot that the last X-Type I owned simply ejected the entire wind deflector like a spent casing and I was doing about 135 when I opened this one. This time however, instead of taking flight the deflector caught the wind and bent upward. Now it sits up too high and causes the glass to return to the open position. I guess it thinks my arm is in the way or something.
Is there a way to replace the wind deflector? I can get one from a wrecker pretty cheap, except I dont know how to open the glass in a car with no battery.
Has anyone ever had this happen?
It happened on a closed circuit test track. With no speed limit.
