Hey - what's this thing ?
 

On my wife's '02 x-type, one of the little panels just below the headlamp and toward the center grill fell off. There's some sort of plastic arm that extends from under the hood. What is that thing ? Looks like the panel opened, the plastic arm thing extended forward, and then the panel twisted and got stuck. Luckily I was able to save the panel - and just the plastic roll pin clip is broken.

You might be referring to the washer jet covers...Dont lose those, they cost $50 bucks (for 1) from the dealer and they only come primered so then you have to get them painted. I just went thru that and it cost me $50 for the cover and $40 to get it painted...
