Can anyone please explain how to remove the connector (XR83295) from the Power Steering pipe (C2S49302) without damaging the pipe on 2004 X-type 2.0D? I have a leak there and want to install a new connector. Is it a matter of just pulling the connector from the pipe by hand? I undersoot that there is a lock mechanism inside the connector and it's for one use only. There is some discussion in the below link but I couldn't get clarity on that:

Appreciate any guidance
Thanks

Aminedaou,

As you've already posted an Intro, I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to X-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help
