Default High pressure on low port AC with good charge air conditioning

Any known issues, quick fixes or things to check?

I went through the forum and haven't found a repair yet.

Back in January it was in the 40's and the AC seemed to work fine.
The car was parked in the North East outside until April, and the AC wouldn't work when I came back.
Fast forward to June and no cold air above 70 degrees. In the rain and 60 degrees the ac blew cool.
The clutch is engaging the compressor. With the cheap charge can, the low side pegged the gauge. Even with the compressor running, it wouldn't draw freon from the can.
This morning I threw a real set of gauges on and both sides read about 100, at start up.
The system will hold a vacuum.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

No idea what car you have but Jaguar issued a TSB years ago.

What do the gauges read when the compressor kicks on? If it stays 100/100 the compressor isn't working. This might be obvious but it also sounds over charged.

Thanks for all the feedback. I had the ac evacuated and level was fine, so we went ahead and replaced the compressor with one off Amazon. Recharged at 1.12 lbs and works liked a brand new car.

Went about 100 miles and then the car threw a few codes and ABS and traction control warnings and dumped me into third gear limp mode.

Here is the odd thing when i looked at the compressor, there are four wires coming off of the alternator, two of which go directly to the ac compressor. Anyone have any prior knowledge of a compressor issue causing limp mode?
