how do you check fuel pressure on 2004 X type
How do you check the fuel pressure on a 2004 x type since they eliminated the schreader valve on the fuel line on 2004 models?

The Jaguar explanation at the time of the deletion of the schraeder valve is as follows:
The vehicle has a new fuel system designed to meet USA rail and the fuel feed line connection.Federal LEV 2 emissions requirements. Parts affected are: • Under floor fuel lines. • Fuel tank assembly. • Fuel filler pipe. • Carbon canister. • Fuel filler cap. Service Port In order to further reduce emissions, the fuel rail ’schraeder’ valve is deleted. Should a service port be needed, a new service special tool will be available to fit between the fuel An alternative is to read the pressure with a suitable scanner. AutoEnginuity certainly reads it. About 55 psi on my 2005MY |
So from what I understand with a normal fuel pressure Gage system it can't be checked? Because I just checked one out from auto zone for a final test to check the fuel pump. So far this is the most helpful thing I've found.

My $120.00 Innova scanner reads fuel pressure. Mine is 54Lbs at idle. same one they use at Oreilys.I have used it on many models and years and found that it's what the computer ( in the car) tells or lets out that the scanner can read. More sophisticated ones will read body/ABS and much more.

If you have the info screen, that well display pressure. Probably no reason you couldn't get a bee-sting tap like they suggest, but since the car checks it anyway...

Thanks guys
