start hearing a knocking sound from the right front side .this only appears when driving over a bump or on a bumpy road.in all other circumstances no sound!!
have jacked the car and put it on two jackstands but was unable feel any "freeplay"on the wheels.
any help would be appreciated

I had a similar problem.

Replacing the sway bar links fixed the problem.

replaced both sway bar links and both sway bar bushings.problem solved.no more
knocking sounds on bumpy roads
