Default Jaguar Performance Parts???

I have been looking for a performance tuner/chip for my 2002 jag x-type. 2.5L 5 speed manual. Anyone know where to find one?

Hey there....Arden is probably your best bet
I've added some Jaguar links in the General tech help section...These provide info for performance and stylin upgrades as well as links to parts suppliers etc etc.
Worthwhile checking out and will crtainly keep you busy for a while

Thanls I sent arden an e-mail, one other question... where is the IAT sensor on the 2.5L for some reason i cant find it and i dont want to be messing with something random.

Hey i email arden and they said they can only tune it in germany, im from the states so I guess thats not going to happen... thanks for the help any ways

im pretty sure they mean that you have to send your ecu to them for them to chip/tune.

Yep I believe thats pretty much the way it works...so potentially your cat would be outta action for at least 7 days or more I'd guess.....you'd have to check.

Exactly what kind of performance are you expecting? I don't think you will gain much without a change of mechanical components or addition of turbo, supercharger, nitrous, etc.

Easiest way to boost a 2.5 is buy a 3.0 !

Ditto that, Chris....and maybe look for a 3.0 with a manual. I drove both when looking for mine and there is a big difference from the autotmatic. They're are harder to find, but they're there.

yea i had a 2.5 and i def notice a diffrance betwenn a 3.0
