Check out Kelley Blue Book - New & Used Car Price Values. Blue book is about $2,800.00. 5 no way unless real good maintenance records and zero defects.

Seems a bit high for this area. Doesn't appear to have DSC either. Not sure what engine or options it comes with though.

Corycarlo 09-13-2015 12:19 PM

What's DSC? It's a 2.5

Corycarlo 09-13-2015 12:20 PM

Price dropped to $4650 and open to offers he says

The Dynamic Stability Control system (DSC) automatically takes control of the vehicle when skidding is detected. Makes a big difference in the snow.

How would I tell if it has this option? Is it worth $4500 if I offer? Thanks

Look below the shifter. If there is a coin holder you don't have it. $4500 is still a bit high. Here is a pic of the DSC button.

No DSC... Just a coin holder. If $4k buys it, take it?

What the heck. What else do you drive for 4k that may or may not have problems? I say go for it. Change all your fluids after you buy it so you have a baseline and then enjoy the heck out of it. My only advice is to get it up to 60 on your test drive. You should hear a slight hum from the drivetrain that goes away when you let off the gas but if it is an annoyingly louder hum , then you may consider offering a bit less. If the hum is there at say 30 mph regardless of hitting the gas or not then definitely pass. The first is probably just a normal driveshaft bearing noise and the second issue is probably the transfer case. At the end of the day if it seems to be a good solid car and it makes you feel good to be in it then drop the money and own that sucker. Good luck!

I have a red 04 with the 3.0 in it. It had a blown head so I replaced the engine. car has 180k on it but the engine only has 113k. I am asking 3k. pm me if your interested. Newer car, no rust. save your cash for other things.

Good Luck
