Leather Seat Cleaner/Preserver
All,
Have cream leather seats which are guardx protected but would like to wash and buff, any suggestions on which product/s to use - thanks guys. |
I use the Croftgate line of products on both my Jags. Works very well and makes the leather feel very soft and plush. Croftgate.com

Gliptone

The Jag seats are very high quality leather. As such, you might find that a terry/microfiber towel, a bucket of very warm water and some dish washing detergent works wonders.
I use plenty of liquid Ivory in the hot water, with a microfiber towel. I work on a 2 inch square section at a time. Followed up by a clear water towel to remove soap. Then use a quality leather conditioner after. This works wonders on my cream seats. I learned this trick from the high end aircraft cleaners I work with. (I work on corporate jets for a living) |
Cheers Guys, all very helpful. I assume that the guard x protection will not be affected just the dirt from the seats will be lifted.
As a side issue anyone had problems with their cruise control - recall here in the UK on the diesel model x-type |
