A Little hesitation-a little gear oil smell
Hey Guys I haven't had much of a chance to be in here for awhile with Christmas and New Years. Out doing the things you do before the holidays, I started getting this small hesitation while going up hills and mountains, now I live in Pa. around the Pocono Mountains. So I'm going up and down hills and mountains all the time. I watched my RPM's and my speed, it's not a transmission problem. I replaced the plugs last year, and the o-rings in the intake. When this was done I checked al my hoses, and everything seemed to be ok. Someone had told me that it was possible that one of the hoses inside lining might be loose and cutting back the vacium. Has anyone else out there ever come up with a problem like this? Not sure if this has anything to do with the hesitation problem, but every once in awhile when I'm on the turnpike or out on rt. 80, I get the smell of a gear oil. I've looked under the car, and it's a little wet. I get no drops on the floor in the garage, and I haven't checked the differenal to see if it's wet around the unit. Anybody, have any suggestions or ideas where the hesitation might be from or if you think the gear oil smell or leak (?) might be the same problem. Thanks everyone, have a great New Years.
