This morning, after driving for around 5 minutes, music stopped and I heard 4-5 long beeps (different tone than the park assistance). After that, the music continued. Any idea what that was all about? For a moment I thought about TA (traffic announcement), but there was nothing aside from the beeps...

 

Hi I saw this thread and wanted to ask if you ever resolved the issuer. I have exacly the same scenario on my x type Jag 2002. Just driving this morning and my radio stopped then beeped 5 times then radio resumed. Did you ever find out what it was? Cheers

If you have a known good radio reception area you could use it to see if the beeps clear
