Default My X-Type helped keep me alive

Hello,

A little over 2 years ago I bought my 2002 Jaguar X Type. It has been one of my favorite cars. It was the beautiful light blue color with the sport package and climate control package. I was getting 22 mph in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. I called her Smurfette. The only things I have had to do are change the oil, put on new tires on it, and change a few gaskets.

A few weeks ago I was driving down to Arkansas to pick up my girl from college. 10 miles out of Searcy and white trying to avoid one bad situation I ended up in a much worse one. My car ended up down a 75 foot ravine, on the drivers side of the car. I was able to get out of the car and pull it back down on all four tires. I probably should have died, but God was protecting me and so did my jag. I plan on writing Jaguar a letter thanking them. The emergency workers attributed my lack of injuries to the well design of the car.

So I just wanted to let everyone here, hear about my experience, and to let potential future x-type owners know that these are some of the safest cars and I would not hesitate to buy another.

So glad to hear your story and you were unhurt; If the media were not unfair to the X-Type when it it still in production, probably it till being made now. There are plenty of used X-Type out there for us X-Typists to drive for the rest of our lives.
