Mike X, when I cut Nav's exhaust system, I cut about 1" away from the muffler. I "think" the service joint that they are talking about is the welded joint right at the muffler. That would be about the only joint near where you would need to do this mod.

If you need more help, let me know. If you are wondering about this job. Don't. it is really straight forward. I do recommend a sawzall as it makes the job much easier than trying to get through the factory pipe with a hacksaw.

Listened to the new video, and it sounds really good. I was expecting raunchy, but its very tasteful indeed!

Thermo, you're a nice guy for helping out our forum neighbors on so many different car projects.

h2OBoy, get your car over to my house. That is when the real fun starts. I have fun doing this sort of thing. Through helping, we not only help that person, but we help ourselves. My house looks like an auto repair place. I perpetually have vehicles flowing through my place needing all sorts of stuff done to them.

Sounds exactly like the Borla system..... I love that it has no rasp at all. Very Nice!

Seriously thinking about doing this in the upcoming month or so. Just curious to all that have installed the Mina exhaust, how have they held up over time and are you still liking it?

spielnicht, if you need help, let me know. As you have seen, installing it is pretty easy. I am an hour south of DC down in California, MD. We can get you taken care of in no time flat.

Thanks for the offer thermo, I'll definitely take you up on that. Never been in those neck of the woods, it'd be a nice drive down. Would be nice to finally meet you in person as well. I'll be in touch around middle of May.

UNtouchables, it is the clamps that are a little confusing. I am trying to remember what was different about them, but I am drawing a blank. Once you start getting the pieces in place, it will start to make sense as to what has to go where.
