Default Need Help!

Had a vibration and whine sound in front wheel areas. The rotors and brake area was very hot to the touch. I had the rotors, calipers and pads changed. Have had the front bearings also changed in the past 6-months. Just picked up the car and the same thing is still happening. This is only in the front and not the back wheels. Looking for advise and loosing confidence in our local mechanic.

Welcome to the forum Douglemire,

I've moved your question from Jaguar Forums Advice / Feedback & Suggestion Center to X-Type forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Just for grins, swap wheels and tires front to back and see if the problem moves. If it does move, you have a tire or wheel problem. Do it one side at a time and narrow things down even more. While you have them off, check each tire for any strange wear.

Old brake hoses can work like valves, they let fluid in calipers, but don't let it go back. Calipers are grabbing rotors.
