MOnchie, there is a way to pull the codes up, but you have to convert the data from hexidecimal to base 10 and all that. Save yourself a lot of hassle and stop by a local auto parts store. MOst will read the codes for free. Then we can take it from there.

As for what could be the issue, I would venture to guess that you pinched a wire as you were putting the radio in and it is affecting the signal it is carrying. The other possibility is that there is a speed signal wire going to the radio and if you accidentally connected this up to something, it can affect what the ECM sees, leading to issues.

If you need any more info, let me know.

a MIL is a CEL or a check engine light. It means "Malfunction Indicator Light"

Ok, random thought, "I bet some of you would love to have a MIL come on to you".

Sorry, just had to say it. LMAO.

I've been waiting for a MILF light to show up on my dash. Anyone know how to trigger that?

Alfadude, I think that will come with the new XKR-S in 2012. I'm sure that car will be a chick magnet. Then once you get them in the car, a few spins in circles with the supercharged 5.0L motors making 550 hp will have the seat left a little damp. From there what you do is up to you.

Hell, if I could afford a new XKR-S I wouldn't need to settle for the MILF, I'm sure her daughter would be all over me.......at least in my dreams that's how it turns out.
