Default Not Idling With Mass Air Flow Sensor Connected

Will not idle with Mass Air Flow Sensor connected but idles correctly when sensor disconnected.

Sensor changed but same idling

Is there a knock on effect where it trips another part or sensor?

This is the filter which has been running correctly, the LPG front end is new but idling is affected on Petrol or LPG

When disconnected the PCM substitutes (using its internal values).

So, you probably have a wiring or the like problem and most likely caused by the LPG work. Could be a power/ground issue, or signal issue.

You can watch the MAF values using OBD but if it won't idle that'll be a problem.

Battery was moved to the boot last year but the existing LPG system was in the way of pointing the air filter where the battery was and allowing it to get air around it, instead of half as the bonnet touched it when closed.

When the air filter was moved with the new LPG front end it would not idle, removing the right angle air filter elbow solved the idling, no idea why.

Air flow is critical as is having NO air leaks whatsoever. These are precision parts.

Just seems odd when it is most likely getting more air and why the direction it came from upset the idling.
