Which part of the tranny is this? it looks sludgy/oily!

Guys,

I was repairing a coolant leak in which the vehicle slightly overheated but I turned off the engine in no time, when I went beneath the vehicle, I noticed that there is a sludge fluid/debris on the transmission (as attached photos). I am not sure if this is a leak or dried oil leftovers as it does not drop leak on the ground when switched off or when engine is running. I also did use alot of foam engine degreaser when I was repairing the coolant leak, and specifically the area under the battery or top of the transmission (where the fill plug is) and did not wash it with water afterwards, only wiping the area. Could it be that this is a result of not washing the area with water after using the degreaser? Or is there a failing washer or seal that needs to be replaced in this part?

I am planning to change the ATF this Saturday using the 3 x drain/fill procedure and clean the area properly and check the ATF level afterwards.

I appreciate any suggestion or advise on this.

Thanks

First pic is your answer. Look at the right hand side of pic, same pattern as the rest. It's drop down from above of whatever cleaner you used mixed with the crud.
