Possible reluctor ring issue

Hello,
I have had a 2004 2.5 AWD manual X type for 14 years. No problems to mention until now.
When I brake, just before the car stops, about 2MPH, I can feel the ABS kicking in slightly. Not always but more often than not. No warning lights on dashboard.
Is this the reluctor rings? If I get a code reader will it show which wheel it is, even though no light is on?
Or will I have to physically examine the rings?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

My 2003 did that and eventually would get the AbS light on and CRUISE UNAVAILABLE on the display. Car felt like the last few feet it was sliding on ice! It was a reluctor ring. Scan tool displayed the issue at hand.

I had a similar one on my 2004.
Corrosion on the disc had moved the reluctor ring too close to the wheel speed sensor (left rear).
Put a washer under the sensor and it has been fine ever since.

Looked at reluctor ring through the sensor hole. It was polished over about 10% of its surface, where it was touching the sensor. Corrosion underneath the ring has pushed it slightly out of true. Otherwise seemed ok.
As Steve kindly suggested in the above post I fitted a thin 8mm washer between the housing and the hub. Problem solved (for now).
Obviously, this is a cure for the symptom, not the cause, but its a 5 minute job, not 5 hours. You can do it while the car is still on its wheels.
Right rear.

Result!
Mine's been fine for about 3 years now; if it goes again I'll put a thicker washer under it!
