Preventive Maint for 57k 2004 X-Type 3.0 v6 AWD automatic
I recently purchased a 2004 X-Type 3.0 v6 AWD automatic in May (my first jag btw) It has very close to 57,000 on it now and would like to know what preventive maint I should do, not knowing at all what had been done before I purchased it.
The car is Very clean and runs fantastic and I would like to keep it that way.
What should I just go and change out/replace? What parts should I be looking at that may fail at this mileage? Anything, help or tips for an 2004 X-Type 3.0 with this mileage to head off problems before they are problems or at least minimize them.
Im not a mechanic (auto wise) but at times can be somewhat mechanically inclined and would like to know what's easiest done by a backyard mechanic with minimal experience and no jag experience, vs a full auto shop. I do have a great non dealer Jaguar repair shop close by for the heavy stuff.
Any info is appreciated as right now I cannot have enough info on this beauty.
Thanks to all well in advance

I also just purchased an x-type two weeks ago. Ill tell you what I did. Topped off transfer case and rear end differential with royal purple 75-140 gear lube. changed atf fluid with castrol import multi vehicle atf 10.5 qts. Check air filter and cabin air/pollen filter. Added 4 mudflaps purchased off ebay about $90. We get alot of winter here in MN. Dealer had put on four new tires, battery and brakes. All of these preventative mx items are shown on this site by members. makes doing easy. good lk.
