Default 2003 X-type Sport

Well, in case you guys have been following my dramatic search for an X-type for my mother, I just wanted to update this. We found an awesome '03 X-type Sport.

After thebonanza at Jaguar of Troy, I mademy motherdrive a TL, C230, and G35, but her heart was still set on the X-type.[8D] We got lucky this weekend, and found a beautiful 2003 X-type sport. An absolutely gorgeous car (Black on black interior) with good mileage and a great deal. We saved nearly 2k off the suggested value, plus got it certified for the 6 yrs/100k miles (nearly a $1500 option as well). Mom loves the vehicle. Came with $8k in features when bought new. Has just about everything shy of the navigation system.

I wanted to thank everyone on here for their help. Aquill, itseems that the Jaguar of Novi outfithas a great service station. Itook a tour and saw the hunterroad-force balance system and all.In my research, I've read about the hunter system beingcrucial for alignments on this platforms. P.S. We should have a mini-Jag SE MI meet (That is, if I'm allowed to drive her car! ).

I'll be sure to stick around and hope to contribute to the forum.

Happy motoring.
-Neil

Yeah congrats on the car how much did you pay? BTW you never called Keith? I dealt with sales in troy and had my car serviced in Novi which they were cool up in there...awesome that you can get cappucino and what not for free and had tons of magazines to look at! I'd imagine that if you got that 2003 from jag of novi you spent about 18-20k??? Nice though you got it with the wood steering wheel! I test drove that exact same car last fall royal oak ford wanted like 20k for the car and it smelled like someone shut themselves in it for the 30k miles they drove it and never opened the windows while smoking! And than the guy wasn't even flexible on the price...pretty sure he sat on it for a long while! Now tell me that any of those other cars you drove look better than what she just purchased!

"BTW you never called Keith?"
-Nah, we were done with Troy after that wholecircus-routine.

"awesome that you can get cappucino and what not for free and had tons of magazines to look at!"
-lol, good perk for my mom. I'll probably do a lot of the maintenance myself, though.

"I'd imagine that if you got that 2003 from jag of novi you spent about 18-20k???"
-It's a secret! jk, we were under 17k.

"Now tell me that any of those other cars you drove look better than what she just purchased!"
-To be honest, at first I was hesistant, but after sitting in those bucket seats, and taking a cruise with all the features, I was hooked. It's way too much pampering!!!

The car was driven by an older guy who loaded the vehicle. It has a lot of really cool features. I especially enjoy the DSC system. This will be great for her in the winter time.

Anywho, here it is:

Interior: Leather bucket seats: These are the most comfortable seats, I've ever sat in!! Plus they're heated for the winter time.

17" Aguilla wheels w/the crappy Continental shoes

Just a cool shot

LOL! Just kidding guys. Not hating, cuz I love how the black X looks on some nice black 18's! However, the black X seems to be the most likable color X now! I've seen two around the crib with black rims, but don't know the owners!

Well, maybe they're keeping a low profile Biggie. You never said if they had blacked out windows and the owners were the masters of BLING or not!
Maybe they're dealers?[&:]..lol

[sm=imsorry.gif].........lol
The reason I say this is cos a few years ago, I had a new Ford Mondeo (black) didn't have the blacked out windows, although I had thought about it.Me and my wifewent out with my mate n his wife this night and I wore black trousers, black open necked shirt and I wore the necklace my wife got me for xmas ( since sold, not really me and I wore it twice I think) 22" x 1" wide Super heavy solid gold curb chain, with a matching bracelet......lol
( It seemed like a good idea at the time[sm=bling.gif][sm=badidea.gif])
I got drug dealer comments ALL night long
At one point there were 2 guys in this bar we were in, one of them eyed me up out the corner of his eye and nudged his mate as if to say ( check it out ).....lol........I was very careful leaving that pub later!

Actually, she liked British racing green, but we were unable to find an X-type that fit our needs in that color.

When am I purchasing an X-type? lol, not for a long time. I'm starting up medical school shortly, and have just about finished paying my undergrad. loans. I'm going to be pushing my Contour for a very long time!!!

Poor ancients......lol...........literally!
Maybe we should take up a collection?[sm=smiley20.gif]or[sm=smiley21.gif]?
We could all stick £5 each in......get him a good used one!
We can't have a doctor to be runnin round in anythin less than a Jag..........he'll pay us all back when the bucks start rollin in.
