I ordered mine from Tirerack.com last year. I went with the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D and MSW wheels.
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/MiniW...ackage&sw=1120 Downsized my 18's to 16's for better snow traction. Worked like a charm! Dedicated snow tires meant I could actually drive through real snow as opposed to the summer tires which got stuck in anything more than 1". Low cost wheel for winter use. Also bought my 18" OZ Canyon II from them when they were cheaper. In case the link above doesn't work they are: MSW Type 14 http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheel...pe14_s_100.jpg • Size: 16x7, 48mm Offset • Price: $94 (each) • Est. Availability: In Stock • Weight: 18.0lbs. • Finish: Silver Painted • Bolt Pattern: 5-108 • Construction: 1 Pc. Gravity Cast |
Sidewalkman, please don't do the black steelies! For the few extra bucks a set up like C5pilot's is purrrrrrfect!

Yea I noticed our x-types tend to have a weird bolt pattern that limits our wheel selection quite a bit.

Let me see if this works....
My 16" winter setup... http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/MiniW...ackage&sw=1120 And my 18" summer setup... http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/MiniW...d=true&sw=1120 |
Nicely done C5pilot. like you said earlier, can't believe the price increase in the Oz wheels.
