Reverse sensors speaker location x type 2001 sedan
Hi I have checked and confirm that all my sensors are working was I can hear the clicking noises but there is not sound when I reverse. So can someone please tell me where I can find the speaker in the car? I know it's some where at the parcel shelf but couldn't see anything. Thanks in advance

Sibu 999 hasn't been around since 2011, so I think we can assume he's moved on!
However, to answer your question, the speaker is attached to the parcel shelf. It's between the shelf trim panel that you see from inside the car and the steel panel underneath that is seen from the boot. From the boot, look up and at the back of the shelf and between the two bass speakers (or apertures if not fitted) you should see two black plastic pins with expanding 'wings' that hold them in place. These are the rivets that hold the speaker in place on top of the steel panel
Getting the parcel shelf out needs a few other bits to come out first! The rear seat backrest side bolsters, the C Pillar trim panel and then rear seat and backrest. That should allow access to the three fixings along the front face of the parcel shelf to release it.

I would say it's probably because your speaker doesn't match the system design. What you should have is one of these
https://www.autoreservejaguar.com/al...r-speaker.html
It's a standard design used in all models of Jaguar and many Fords, Mazda and probably Volvo. Stacks of used ones on ebay
