Technical Service Bulletin TSB help please

OK, owned the Dec 2009 build X Type 2.1V6 LE Sedan, (Vin J63537) since September 2018,.

Like ALL my Jags, I go and gather any TSB's I can find, and a HUGE thanks to JagRepair etc from this site, that have assisted me so far.

Being Downunder, it is a 2.1ltr V6 Petrol, Jatco 5 speed Auto, Front Wheel Drive beast.

So far the ONLY TSB's I find are the 2.5 and 3.0ltr AWD, and although helpful, lots of stuff is not related at all.

I have been search all over since ept 2018, so I reckon I have given that medium a :fair bloody shake", and now need some other "devine" intervention.

Recent discussions with Motorcarman, confirmed my suspicions, the 2.1 did not go to the North American market, so that explains the lack of TSB related to this power combination.

"ALLDATA", claim to have ALL Jaguar TSB's, but being a ".com", I suspect ONLY NA related, so a waste of my subscription if that is the case.

So, whats the go, I know there MUST be 2.1 FWD related TSB's out there, as I refuse to believe they are "that damn good" that nothing needs TSB notification.

If someone has an AllData active subscription, and can look up my X Type 2.1V6 of my Vin, and market, and come back with an answer here, or even PM me, I will get a subscription, no issues, IF they have what I seek.

Any other suggestions???, thanks for them also.

I have lost my Jaguar contacts since retiring, which is a PITA.

Thanks for posting that, Dell. I have been meaning to ask a question about my own car's brakes, but there, right at the ned of your link, its the answer:

Problems and faults: Jaguar X400 X-Type

  • The brakes may make a moaning noise when reversing due to bad bushings in the rear suspension knuckle.
Well, now all I have to do is find out how to fix it. Thanks again.

Thanks Dell.

That will keep me off the streets for a day or 2, and probably complete the TSB library on the hard drive.

So far I have established a few unique things on the "little engine" cars:

Throttle body is cable operated, NO fly by wire, Goodo.
Fuel tank is underslung at the rear, NOT under the rear seat.
NO external exhaust chrome tips, BUGGA.
Front wheel drive, so NO transfer case and rear diff etc etc. Whoopee.
ONE IMT unit to cause issues, instead of 2 , better.
