Hey, your tail lights look cool but I think you need to add chrome trim surroundings for them as well .

Very nice! How difficult were the bumper blades to install?

I think it looks great. I also think that's enough chrome - just add the grill and the rims. Member JagXtype620 posted pix of his wickedly cool new rims a few weeks ago - 19" Niche Euro's (see pix) https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=36588 - if I could afford rims those'd be the ones.

Question - What's that on the tails - Film or VHT? It looks nice 'n glossy. I have been increasingly tempted to tint my tails too - last month I even bought the VHT Nightshades spray and the clear overcoat, but then I got cold feet again and haven't put it on. I think you just convinced me with those pix. Film or spray?

Very Nice!

new muffler tips, or even some magnaflows?

but it seems that the chrome is coming along, like Jeremy said chrome wheels would probably be ideal in your case.

The tailights were tinted with film not sprayed. Unfortunately I'm no mechanic(tools or knowledge) which means I have to have mechanics work on my car when i want things installed. They tinted the lights for $120. And again I had to have a shop throw on the bumper blades bc the only way they can be installed is by removing the bumper (which i found out when the parts arrived and I failed the attempt). I do not want to add chrome around the taillights bc that will defeat the purpose of trying to blend them in with the black paint. The Rims are my next project and getting the calipers to match. JagXtype620's rims are pretty sick, and that’s similar to what I want to do. I want the majority of the rim/wheel black with chrome accents in the spokes. These are two that I like the best, but again it depends how much i can get them for, and I also have a list of about 15 that I'm trying to narrow down.

Asanti-AF161

And the Gianna Blitz

Afterwards, I will replace the upper grille with the new style, having the mesh be black and the logo chrome. As well as adding the lower black grille. I also want to throw in HID's and then Tint the front headlights. So far the cops have left me alone, and many of them have passed me with the illegal tint and tailights.

Agreed! If you have the money to spend on asantis than it'd look sick as hell... Asantis sure arnt cheap! How much does that rim go for? $1000 a rim? Probably more.... Nice choices if you go with either... Both expensive quality rims... Just be careful with low profile.... One pot hole n bye bye asantis...

I like the Asanti's, but I still like the Niche Euros better. All of 'em prolly cost a small fortune.

JagX - what did the Niche's cost?

With Kumho tires and everything $1700...

No where near what Asanti's cost. $1,700 would be for like per rim lol

Hey that's the same VDP I have! Same color too! Is it a 2005 VDP Black with chrome looks fantastic !

I put 20 spoke chromes on mine - looks very flash. I got rid of the VDP rims, as everyone of them was bent, I suspect they are inherently too soft for the job.

I love the look of the film, did the shop provide it? Why do you want to replace the grille? The 2005 chrome grill is fantastic IMHO..

wheels can get super pricey, my teacher has a Maserati with a OEM wheel set that cost 10k then add on the super low profile michelin pilot sport tires and your looking at a ton of money.

Ya u guys are right, I was pricing out the rims today and those Asantis are way out of my league. I'm looking at a few more options, trying to narrow it down. I'm still leanning on 18" bc they are cheaper with a better ride, I'm just afraid they'll look to small. What do you think? I dont want to spend a ton on 19" and then pop the tire and ruin the rim.

Rmmmmm would you upload some pics, I want to see what yours looks like with the wheels?

Ive got 18's and I can say that the ride is pretty crappy. But, I do have H&R springs installed so that adds to the bad ride. But I would say go for 18's, in my opinion 19's are too big.

I've been wanting to tint my taillights as well but being here in Florida it's pretty much illegal.. I know a lot of people that have their taillights tinted and havent got stopped yet but I am not willing to take that risk. So I have come up with this idea into tinting around the actual lights... Here are picures to better explain my idea... It's a horrible photoshop image but I quickly did it just to see the idea..
