Touch-Up Paint
I have a 2004 X-Type 3.0 with Topaz Metallic paint. A previous owner rubbed the front right corner (passenger bumper area near the chrome bumper trim) resulting in a 6x12 inch patch of scratches. I am looking to do a little touch-up work to make it less obvious, not looking for a body-shop job, just something to improve the situation.
I found this:
Amazon.com: 2004 Jaguar All Models - Spray Paint: Complete Repair Kit - Topaz Metallic 1820/SEC: Automotive
Thought it might work ok, any product recommendations or advice? Thanks! Jonathan |
It appears to contain all the items needed for small area touch-up. The critical thing is to make sure it's the exact paint colour.
Jaguar uses a 3-letter paint code. There should be a label on your RH door pillar with the Paint and Trim codes. I think Topaz is SEC like this kit but check the code on the vehicle before you buy it. Graham |
Thanks, I did verify the SEC paint code. Guess we'll see if anyone else chimes in and then try it out.

That's a nice kit, we prefer to go with "Automotive Touchup". We have never had any problems with color matching.
