vid not written - x400 2.1
 

when programming pcm as it was a replacement, it completes the programming fine but when the vid is being written it finishes by saying vid was not written. I am using ids/sdd 131.03 with a genuine mongoose and a 20 amp power supply .
The same unit programs keys, resets the immobilizer, everything else as far as I can tell
any advise or direction would be helpful
