Voltage
Hello fellows,
I'm new to this forum but help is needed.
My car suffers from a decrease in battery voltage . When start the engine voltage gives a read of 15.1 volts and keeps as is .but after a while approximately 10 minutes later voltage drops down and keeps a read of 13.2-13.5 volts constantly, then if i turn off car and fire it up again it will give 15.1 volts and so on. Is it normal experts or should i check something?
I live in Jordan -middle east and
my car is 2005 Jaguar x type 2.1 v6
thanks in advance.

When you start the vehicle the starter motor drags voltage for the battery down. The alternator kicks up the voltage to bring the battery back to full charge and then settles down to maintain the charge. The voltage regulator is built into the alternator and is functioning as it should. Normal running voltage should be 13.5 to 14 volts.

Lmfao! Um......hence the term "regulator", that's on old "generators" or current named "alternators". Why putting a monsterous output alternator in your car is worthless unless you have added massive after market power draining components (think the headache producing moving "boom boxes" cars). If there is a 150 amp alternator as stock in a car, replacing it with a 400 amp does nothing, unless again you have added 200+ amps of aftermarket draining junk.
