X-type 3.0 V6 with 79634 miles general question

Curious, I have an opportunity to buy an 05 X Type wagon owned by a senior that was kept clean. Any known issues or things to look for? I have an 03 XJR V8 Super Charged that has 69000 on very clean but currently have aThrottle Body being replaced and already replaced a knock sensor. The X type would be an everyday driver and I'd rather not shell out a lot of money if its getting time.
Appreciate any input.

By 05 a lot of the known issues were taken care of. To be honest there are not many wagons, I would jump on it if its a good price.

Bigevent, the 05's were a nice car. BUT!!!!! If you try to drive the X-Type like your XJR, it is going to be a very expensive car to drive. As a saying that I have come up with and has kinda gotten adopted around here, "The X-type is a great cruiser, it is not a light to light car". What I mean by this is that the X-Type will cruise the roads very nicely and have plenty of passing power to get you where you need to in relative comfort. But, if you want to get to 60 mph as quickly as possible day after day, then the transfer case is going to fail on you in a short period of time, leading to a $3000 repair bill. So, you drive sensibly, it will last forever. You drive it hard, it will be hard on you. So, really, how do you drive? That will determine if you should get the X-Type or not.
