Help

Are all the speakers working? Jag door speakers are crap and tend to blow. I bought my X and all 4 were blown. Replaced with 4 panasonics.

On my X Type the speaker magnet came adrift.. Metal fixings to plastic do not last.. Coil and paper cone in good condition. I put it down to my sons heavy treatment of the car door. I removed speaker and used silicon to reattach the metal magnet to the plastic frame the coil and cone are mounted on. Just need to ensure well lined up or the coil will catch on the magnet. You might not have that problem but you'll know as soon as door panel off. Simple fix costing nothing as had a spare tube of silcoset lying around

They all work but sound crap have to have bass down as low as it will go can you change speakers with out removing door cards this for your help dave

You will need to remove the door panels.. But once the panels are off the speakers are very easy to access. You just need to remove that panels carefully as the securing clips can break quite easily and the wire to the inner handle will need removing.. About an 4 minute job per door panel to take them off I would say
