well the wires have to be fixed before a replacement is needed....rewire those plugs and see if the original still works.
take cover off and inspect inside for damage or corrosion.
do all the pins on the TT look ok ?

2 of the pins in the middle block have snapped off inside the box. The same 2 that match up to the snapped wires

Can't find a used one but in the U.S. Carid has a universal unit for 2005 Jaguar X Type. There is also one another guy in another forum used made by Hopkins (less money) with power module and all wiring that he used on his X.

Dell, give Dr Dome a message and see if he can help you out. He has a few X-Types that he is parting out and he may have the module that you are after. he will treat you right.

I would also give gaudin jaguar in Las Vegas a call and see what they want for a new module. It may not be as bad as you think.

Not for me, for the British chap. I think the shipping would be prohibitive for him. The "Dr." is actually keeping an eye out for a overhead console for me though.

Thanks guys for all your help.
Decided to bypass the towing module for the moment as I don't need to tow anything.
Simply disconnected the white and black/white wires and joined them together. Both rear indicators now work properly.

Will keep an eye out now for someone in UK breaking one but not in a rush now.

Happy days
