Default xtype 03 3.0 129,000 miles.

My 03 has c1145 code an printout says right front wheel sensor. Did to check and have several sensors. Also pulled the inner wheel guard and checked the harness. It has continuity soit looks like it checks out. Still getting the dsc an light. Was wondering if the control pack. Frt of car right side could be the issue. The only thing I've done is replace one caliper on the left rear. Have heard that air can be an issue. Don't think thats it. I have replaced the frt right wheel brg and strut and drive unit. Am I missing something.

You get to guess or do more tests - a 'scope is useful to see the waveform.

Often it's the sensor.

Have you checked the reluctor ring on the wheel bearing? They often get rusted and corrode and the sensor can't get a correct reading. Do a search on here about that and you will understand.

Default c1145

I have replaced bearing cv joint, strut, brakes tires. Wasn't aware the front had reluctors. And there is no way to install them. Know the rear has them but was told the bearing serves as the reluctor. Gonna look at the left wheel and see if there is a reluctor in there. Was thinking of taking the abs apart but not sure I want to get that involved. Now I'm curious as to the problem. I can be scary when that happens. Been know to disassemble things.

@Navyman, read this, it'll make you sweat even contemplating it.

Given that I've checked an pulled all but the abs unit. I have a question. What equipment affects the abs.i know the cruise is affected, wheel sensors, I'm stubbornly looking as I hate mysterious things. I will go back to the pan gasket. Now would air in the braking cause the abs fault. Brakes are bleed but I have replace a caliper. ?

Did you switch LH and RH sensors to see if the DTC goes from C1145 to C1155?

If it does, that confirms a faulty RH sensor; if not it's open circuit, short circuit to B+ V or short circuit to ground on the LH side.

Has not thrown a code but dsc an abs came back on. Does the throttle body plug have anything to do with the dsc. See a lot on y tube asthe guy fixing the solder joints on the abs. I will solve this. But a bit frustrated.
