Check engine light with code p2381 - egr sensor high
 

hey guys,

i got a check engine light on my jag xe 20d for a couple of days now. My OBD reader says error code P2381 - EGR Sensor D High.

I had this error before a couple of weeks ago, had to change the battery and it disappeared after.

FYI: the previous owner had the EGR programmed off, so it shouldn't be doing anything to my knowledge. The error just appeared recently though and im driving the jag for 1,5 years.

Additional info: i had the turbo and manifold exchanged 20k kilometres (12k miles) ago and the new battery 2 weeks ago.

Anyone had experience with this error before? Obviously im thinking it has something to do with the programming that was done, im just wondering why the error only appears now.
