Procedure for changing air filters on V6
Does anyone have a link to the shop procedure for changing the air filters on the V6 XE?
I managed to get one of the boxes open (passenger) but it was a huge PITA getting the intake tube back into the exit side of the air box. There is a giant O-ring that is not easy to get seated properly...
And once I got it all bolted up, it didn't seem quite right...

Is this the correct one (taken from JEPC)?
This is the Workshop Manual section:
Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - V6 SC 3.0L Petrol - Intake Air Distribution and Filterin.pdf
Looks like removing the screws around the 'lid' and the Jubilee Clip to free the hose from the MAF should do it ......
There could be more information on JLR TOPIx but that's a chargeable resource.

Yes, perfect. Thank you!
So the issue is getting the O-ring (#5) back onto the MAF tube (#6) and properly seated into the filter housing lid when re-connecting the lid.
I figured out that you can just unbolt the lid of the filter housing, and there is enough play in the intake tubing to lift it up and out of the way for accessing the filter. It's not required to unbolt the MAF tube, although on first inspection you would assume this was required. Skipping this step is fine and saves like 20 minutes of headache.
