XE Wheel Nuts
Has anyone had any issues in not being able to remove any original jaguar wheel nuts as I am led to believe that these nuts can expand and you can no longer get a 19mm wrench to fit.. Has anyone had this issue or changed the whole set for alternative nuts.
I have a 2023 XE HSE 20d and found one of my wheel locking nuts has split so has to be replaced. Does anyone know if you can just buy one locking nut from a dealer or do you have to by a set of 4 and a new Key. Hence I am considering replacing the full 20 nuts with normal after market nuts supplied by spot - on alloy wheels at £40 for 20.

It happened to my Land Rover LR2/Freelander. Rigorous step I did do, I sprayed WD40 moving the lug nut wrench back and forth each time (don't be stingy on spplying it on), repeat the sequence oover and over until the bolt is out. I got all 4 wheels off in less than 1 hour. I then applied grease to the bolts for ease of removing in the future.
Here in the states, thieves stealing alloy wheels have dropped down significantly to zero. Few people used locking wheel nuts on thier vehicles. I don't know in your neighborhood, but if you live in safe area why bother putting them on
