Hi,

I have a 2014 Jaguar XF 3.0 R sport bought brand new in 2014. Never had any workshop visits apart from Brake pad, tyre changes and Standard jaguar service -- until last Sunday.

I was cruising @ 75-80mph around 11.30PM on motorway and suddenly my car just died. I mean just stopped everything - engine, headlights, rear lights and dashboards sending numerous errors and finally showing restricted performance. It was very scary and I was fortunate there was no traffic. after couple of minutes I was able to turn on hazard lights and then the car switched on again with a warning restricted performance.

Next day morning when I switched it on -- absolutely nothing as if nothing happened. No error, no warning. everything normal on the dashboard.

I got nervous and called jaguar assist they looked a bit puzzled as they can see all the errors in their software connected to car so, they took my car for further investigation it’s been 2 days now. Will update once they get back to me.

Did anyone here faced something similar?

If yours is a 2014 model then it's an X250 (not the newer X260) so you're posted in the wrong section. Maybe a mod can move it over

Hopefully jag techs can diagnose given all the error codes that must have been logged. Let us know what you hear back from them
