2009 XF coolant bleed screw?

Hi,
Changed the coolant expansion tank because of a broken nipple. I can't get the air out of the coolant system. I've tried running with heat on and pumping the hoses. Can't get the cabin heat up. The expansion tank stays full. Car over heats if driven. I don't see a bleed screw on the passenger side lines. Any help appreciated.

The coolant bleed screw is on top of the coolant expansion tank and should be open before you start adding the new coolant.

On the supercharged model the bleed screw is on the end of a little hose that sits at the right-hand end of the radiator.

True but dotcom's car is a 4.2L NA , according to his Profile.

I went with this Lisle radiator funnel and it seems to have worked. Is the bleed screw next to the nipple on top? It looks very fragile.

Yes that's it---gently with a big screw driver. I have a the same funnel needed when I had Mazda RX7 Turbo II and Twin Turbo.
