2009 XF Supercharged GearBox and Other Faults
I have a 2009 Jaguar XF Supercharged and I am getting a gearbox fault which locks up the transmission and I have to pull over and **** the car off. I can immediately restart it and it runs fine, but may or may not do it again.
Also, I have ABS, Tire Pressure Monitoring System Fault, Check Engine, DSC Fault and EBD Fault lights that come on frequently.
Has anyone experienced this? Any solutions?

Battery issues most likely. If you don't drive it far enough for the alternator to charge it up the battery may be low on charge. Try charging the battery on the car and see if the issue goes away. Newer Jaguars are VERY sensitive to a low battery. Your battery may need to be swapped out if it isn't holding a charge. Even if the car starts the battery can still be the culprit.
If the gear box faults continue they can be related to issues with the shifter mechanism. Most of the early XF's had the shifter replaced. They switched to a new manufacture and the new versions have been trouble free.
