This is a very inaccurate description of what is going on but one injector can show misfires on multiple cylinders.
Not on direct injection engines. Injectors feed the cylinders directly, not into the intake runner.

But a stuck injector will wash the cylinder walls, get past the rings, and contaminate the oil. That causes bad things at every oiling point inside the engine. Very bad things.

What about misfire from exhaust side. I had two injectors go out and they indeed set misfires codes on the entire bank.

Raw fuel being pushed into the exhaust runners and pipes could/would cause detonation where it is not supossed to be. That could cause all sorts of knock sensor "signals" and those shock waves could interrupt the normal exhaust flows from other cylinders in the bank.

The ECU could interpret that in many ways, throwing confusing codes.

I don't know

I ain't buying that! But, as you say strange things happen when the signals run amuck.

Enclosed is the technician report on my injector problem , I thought it might help you diagnose your problem.

Hmmh. I wonder how 1 injector set the misfires for all on that bank? Maybe the fuel rail pressure was low?
