Default 2015 XF vs 2015 Cadillac ATS

So I have to make a choice between these 2 cars tomorrow. I bought the Jaguar already (Portfolio RWD with 59k miles) but it had some issues so the dealer replaced the fan and the module, thermostat and the water pump. I paid roughly 23k out the door for it. But I am a little concerned with the issues it had after a day of driving it. The Cadillac ATS was my loaner and it’s the same year with 33k miles. It comes with all the bells and whistles, it is a performance premium edition AWD. The NADA value on it is 30k and the dealer is willing to sell it to me for $27500 out the door. I am in a predicament because I haven’t properly even driven the jaguar and I still loved it. But the ATS is also a nice and unique car. It is smaller in every aspect but the 33k miles is really enticing.

I don’t expect anyone to make the choice for me but any comment or advice helps. Thank you!

Neither.

Your concerns about the Jag are valid. Once the car your problem, you will not be taking it to any dealer for their exorbitant services. It can be hard to find a good specialist shop to work on them, and a lot of over priced parts have to be shipped from the UK. Parts and service doesn't depreciate with the car, and the current worldwide freight situation is not getting better any time soon.

The Cadillac is a GM product.

If you want a luxury car and care about reliability, you get a Lexus. For that budget you can get into a nice one. Go drive a few.

i second that, the Lexus is a better choice for reliability i have both a lexus and a xf , my lexus gs350 has 190,000 miles on it and have never fixed a thing on it ,just regular maintenance , the only repair on my 2015 xf is the thermostat , with the jag i find if i change the coolant each year it seams i have less problems figures crossed, the only thing is that i love the Jaaaag over any sedan

You'll fit right in, we're all gamblers here just hoping only minor things blow up.
