4th Sidewall bulge on my Pilot Sport 4Ss. Any alternatives?
As per title really. I love the way the PS4Ss handle, but they really don't seem to like the /30 profile on these 20" rims, at least in my case. And the roads around here aren't even as bad as other parts of the US.
I know they're often/generally considered the best bet, but what are people's thoughts on alternatives? I'm obviously happy to pay the money for good tires but I'd rather they could survive the occasional missed/unavoidable pothole/road damage without popping the sides out apparently so easily.

I've had more than my fair share of bulges due to the small sidewall on the 20inch rims. I've had hankook evo, winter tires (Pirelli sottozero) both with several sidewalk bulges. Got the Michelin 4S now and been very careful. No bulges yet / but not hit a pothole recently.
So - I'm not sure you'll find a good answer here. Pothole at speed = bulges. And sometimes a bent rim too
Good luck and let us know if you find a solution. I suspect a downsize to 19inch wheels if you can get them over the 380mm brakes maybe the only answer.

Is an R888 available in our sizes?
Not sure if how many miles you put on your can annually. I'm considering R888's next time I need tires. My fronts just as with my 911 Turbo (PS2's, only size available for factory turbo twists) are far outlasting the rear. I had a bulge on my last set of PS2's in that car and continued to drive it for quite sometime including across country. Probably not the brightest idea.
