Default Air intake resonator - 5.0 n/a

Hi, I'm 99% sure about this but thought I would consult here first.

Are there any potential problems with disconnecting the air intake resonator (#7 in attached pic) from the air intake tube (#5 in attached pic) and capping both openings, i.e. remove hose #8?

Thanks

That is part of the "Symposer" assembly.
Do a quick search as we have dozens if not hundreds of threads on removing it. Yes it is not needed.
