Default Akebono Brakes Model Number?

Hello all,
I have a 2011 XF-S (pretty much the same as the base - NA 5.0 V8 but it's NOT Supercharged). I've been reading a few posts that mention people using Akebono brake pads in the rear. Can someone please put the model # for the Akebono rear pads and where you got it?

The closest I saw was from this post

But when I check in Amazon's site it says the EUR1095s are not compatible with my 2011 XF. Any guidance and clarification is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Default brake pad info

Hi,
These are correct for your base model.
If you need original Jaguar pads I have some I can send from the UK.$75 Inc post.
Thx

I would suggest that you measure your rotors before you buy your pads. That way, you will get the correct ones on the first try. I too have a 2011 XF-S with the non supercharged 5.0l V8. I am suspecting that I have the larger front rotors and the common base model rear rotors.

Huh? The measuring should be done by the manufacturers of the pads. Unless you have swapped out your brake components, there should be no need to measure anything. Look up your year/make/model/sub-model and get your pads.

I learned the hard way that you better go to the manufacturer's website for the pads to make sure you get the right part number since the resellers didn't have the right info. Measuring stuff wouldn't have helped anything.

Akebono has their own website with a part number list, or you can also email them for info on part numbers. I have emailed with them, and EUR1095's are the right pads. I have them in both of my XFs, and they work extremely well.
