am I missing a connection?

I removed the wiper cowl this weekend to fix a rattle. (one of the hoses for the wiper fluid had come loose and was driving me crazy).
As I was nosing around, I noticed this part affixed to the rear of the engine. I don't see it on any of the engine diagrams I have. Does anyone know what is. It looks like something should be connected to it, but there was no piece that had fallen off or disconnected anywhere?

Bump...
anyone know what this is...?

I'll take a stab at it...

From what I can see, in your images, the arrows are pointing to some plastic hinges. On these hinges, there seems to be a lid already in place, so as far as I can tell, there is nothing missing there.
What needs to be connected to those hinges is already in place.

Unless your arrows were suppose to point at something else... :icon_neutral:

Thanks for the effort. I was trying to point to the assembly and what looks like a duct from it.

Oh... LOL... that clears things up.
I have no clue... sorry.

This holds the wiring loom at the rear of the engine on the 5.0 V8 supercharged - I assume with the V6 this loom is routed somewhere else?

Ah, ok so not a duct at all, just where other wires would feed in on other models. Thanks. That's not as exciting as I thought...
