Battery Warning icon
 

I jumped my sons car and my battery sparked and smoked and since then the battery warning icon comes on when i drive it.

I had my battery checked and its fine and its charging.....how do i clear the warning?

As a starter I'd try disconnecting the battery for 30s then reconnect. See if that fixes it

I disconnected the battery for more than a minute....didn't help.

Don't know where you live, but places like autozone will test charging system for free,

Advance auto parts checked the battery and charging system and all fine.....so not sure how to clear the warning icon

Interesting, I would normally leave the battery disconnected for an hour or offer load to drain. Being that there where sparks, I would be more concerned with the sensing module, as it might be the issue, either needing reprogramming or replacement. Do you have a scanner that can clear codes or the JLR SDD software?
