Default XF Cooling system woes

Hi guys, I have a 69000 mile 2008 2.7 XF, that has so far had coolant leak after coolant leak, initially I changed the outlet assembly underneath the throttle body because it had pink staining on the seam. The coolant loss came back and led me to the auxiliary coolant pump which had obvious signs of corrosion and leakage. Whilst that was being done I got them to change the main coolant pump at the same time, that bill made my eyes water! All seemed fine for two weeks then it started leaking again, I have an endoscope and after some poking around I could see obvious signs of coolant near the engine coolant inlet so it went back to the garage and had that changed. Am I now just chasing weak point after weak point or should it be okay now that pretty well all the inaccessible plastic parts have been changed?

Pretty much. Its 13 years old, the rubber and plastic degrades over time, basically once one of the coolant hoses starts to go its easier to simply rip them all out otherwise it'll be in and out of the garage chasing leaky hose after leaky hose. Same will probably happen to oil lines if your model has any.
