Default central console friction problem

Hello everybody !

After more than a year driving my XF, I am always so happy ! However some problems come to the party ... Extremely unpleasant friction are heard from central console, and I have question for you. Have you ever seen this kind of problem ?

I think, the problem can come from the EPR cable, but i'm not sure.
So, i made thise video to show you my problem :

Thanks for your answers !
Nicolas

I precise that the friction occurs during braking or deceleration

I think you have a tiny demon in your center console!!! What the hell is that noise!!!

Soooooo is it speed dependent?? It sounds like its stopping as you slow down......

Yes it is speed dependant.

But yesterday, the problem has been solved !!!

It was the EPR cable (thought initially) who rubbed against the drive shaft !!
Exhaust line and fire bulkhead were removed to access easily.

So, by the way if this kind of problem appear for another person, you may have further reflexion way to remove and solve.

Thanks for your attention !
