I have had many oh sheit moments. Didnt see that or that wasnt expected! Hell even fixing things brings risk of damage. But we try. And we often succeed. Small mess ups happen. But we learn from them and thats good!

Job complete. I'd estimate the change out would take about 2-1/2 to 3 hours if down on the ground. Much quicker if one had access to a hydraulic lift. I experienced no problems getting it all back together. The Styrofoam piece you see in the photo behind the grill actually blocks you from removing the bottom three 5 star screws (11 in total) so you have to unplug the parking sensor and remove the clips holding the wires. The Styrofoam can then be maneuvered far enough back to get a short handle screw driver in there to remove them. The only thing I had to unplug was one sensor as you see in the photo. There is enough length in the other wires to push the bumper out far enough in order to have access behind it. I rested the removed bumper on a craftsman work stool at the same elevation it was when I removed it and I pulled it away from the vehicle.
All in all, not a difficult job. In the these photos I had just place the growler emblem in place, no adhesive yet. Being anxious to take it for a spin around the block to see if any codes pop up I jumped inside and took off down the road. About 200 feet later I realized I had left the emblem in place and slowly came to a stop. Got out. looked, it was gone. Looked underneath, nothing. Looked behind the vehicle and there it was laying in the road. What a close call that was! That would really have ruined this perfect moment of satisfaction if I had destroyed it by running over it.
By the way - no codes!

Ok. After what happened today I'll heed your guys advice. Going to buy a couple of lottery tickets today

Good job, looks great.
One little picky point - the left front corner of the hood is just a tad high, try screwing in/down the "stoppers" on that side/corner (black hex shaped things about 1" across), a couple of turns should do the trick.

Thanks OzXFR. Good eye. I too noticed that as I was standing there taking the photos. I'll address that tomorrow.

Made the adjustment. Photo in the background is the correction.
